History

Where we started

Pinwheel Web Development was created out of the frustration of how much this industry impacts the environment. We asked ourselves, why. Why does this industry have to create so much impact. Are there ways that we can help reduce it for ourselves but for everyone who works with our company?

Our biggest priorities were making sure that we can reduce the environmental impact of a client and make sure they don’t have to compromise. Our focus is providing excellent service, and doing so while maintaining as minimal impact to the environment as possible.

Ash Davenport

She/Her | Founder

I have been building and maintaining website for over a decade and I love the challenge of figuring out the logistics of a website’s design and bringing it from concept to reality. When I’m not building websites, I enjoy 3D printing, DIY projects, Lego and too many hours in Minecraft.

Michelle

She/Her | CFO

As Pinwheel Web Development’s CFO, Michelle offers oversight in financial reporting, cash management, legal, corporate matters and customer support. She lives in North Georgia with her husband.

Ashley is a professional marketer and writer with a strong passion for helping small businesses in developing their brand narratives and leveraging the power of local search.

Jamie, based in Woodstock, GA, specializes in social media marketing, building strong online presences for brands. When not driving creative strategies, she enjoys cooking and discovering the best local coffee spots with her husband and two dogs.

Nathan Fansler

He/Him | Support

Nathan is a troubleshooter who won’t let a problem leave his head until it is resolved. Instead of seeing it as an issue, he sees it as a puzzle to solve. When he’s not solving problems, his time is spent playing tabletop games and creatively writing.

Bell Huffstutler

Vae/Vaer | Development

Bell is a full stack developer, with a general interest in server administration and web app development. Vae is fond of problem solving, and its vaer favorite part of programming. In vaer free time, vae works on a multimedia comic about a game.

Development Pets

The ones who actually run things

We all know that our pets are actually the ones who train us, not the other way around. Below are some of the pets that members of our staff have and some of their favorite activities.

Director of Chaos

Cruella is one of the sweetest cats that Ash has ever had, however she is also the most chaotic and energetic cat that they have ever had as well. She is extremely talkative, she loves to climb, and she loves to sit outside on the catio and watch the birds. She is truly the ruler of the Davenport household.

Rilee

Chief Happiness Officer (CHO)

Rilee keeps the team smiling as Chief Happiness Officer, specializing in zoomies, snuggles, and treat patrols. When she’s not boosting morale with her wagging tail, she loves running full-speed at the park and sneaking in well-timed naps. Rilee’s mission: spread joy, reduce stress, and remind everyone to take a break for some puppy love.

Roo

Chief Toy Tester

Roo is our expert Chief Toy Tester, dedicated to inspecting every squeaky, stuffy, and chewable toy that crosses her path. With a love for playtime, she’s known for her rigorous (and often destructive) testing methods. When she’s not putting toys through their paces, she’s making sure the peanut butter supply stays under constant surveillance.

Jasper

Chief Sales Officer

Jasper is the newest addition to the Davenport household. He was rescued while Ash was tending to her garden. He loves to sit on Ash’s shoulders and watch over her meetings, help keep her on task, and helps keep a smile on everyone’s face. His job is to keep Pinwheel’s income stable, make sure projects get completed on time and treats get eaten on schedule.

Milo

Fridge Inspector

When Milo was first rescued, the first thing he did was look in the fridge and sniff around.
